This delightful cottage enjoys a very quiet and peaceful position, adjacent to the owners' house, in the small village of Alstonefield. It has been converted from an old shippon and retains much of the original character with exposed beams.

Very comfortably furnished and tastefully decorated the cottage has a pleasant outlook over the surrounding well tended gardens and extending to the open countryside beyond.

Alstonefield is set in the heart of the Derbyshire Dales and close to Dovedale, where the River Dove meanders through the Dove Gorge, making this an ideal base from which to tour this beautiful area. For the walker there are plenty of walks from the village itself, with easy access to the High Peak area for the more adventurous. The village is also well served by local buses.

All on the ground floor - 1 double bedroom, lounge with double sofa bed, leading to dining kitchen, shower room with toilet and basin.

Open log fire in lounge, central heating - all fuel and power is included in the rent. Cot, high chair, colour T.V., DVD player, microwave, shower, Digital radio, fridge/freezer. Bed linen and towels are included. Gardens with garden furniture. Ample parking. Pets by arrangement please.
