A delightful barn conversion into a lovely Scottish Borders Holiday Cottage, The Heritage Cottage offers superb accommodation for couples and families. With open countryside views towards the Cheviot Hills and situated two miles from Paxton and six miles from the town of Duns, it offers an ideal location from which to explore the Northumberland Coast and the Scottish Borders. Edinburgh is just an hours drive or you could catch a train from nearby Berwick Upon Tweed (10 Miles) which also has an excellent selection of shops, restaurants and cafes, alternatively Kelso (18 miles) offers a wide variety of shops. There are many small villages in the area which also offer a further selection of pubs serving meals. Safe sandy beaches are in abundance along the coastline wuth many castles and historical sites - Holy Island and Bamburgh Castle worthy of note. Tastefully furnished and very well equipped with french doors out to the garden and a cosy wood burning stove for those winter evenings.
