This is a stunning main door apartment set within an elegant Georgian terrace in the East End of the New Town in Edinburgh. It’s location, whilst in a very quiet residential area, it is only a couple of minutes’ walk from the hustle and bustle of Edinburgh City Centre – George Street Bars, restaurants, Harvey Nichols, John Lewis etc. In fact nearly all of Edinburgh’s main attractions are within a 15/20 minute walk into the Old Town.

Great care and attention has been paid to the refurbishment of this apartment. Its well-proportioned rooms have been decorated in a modern Scottish style which pays great compliment to the existing Georgian features, of which there are many from stripped timber flooring to beautiful fireplaces.

Set over two floors the apartment has 5 stylish and spacious bedrooms that can sleep up to 10 adults. The bed can be split to accommodate both couples and singles. The reception rooms, once again are very comfortable and bright creating welcoming areas to relax and dine in after a day/night ‘out on the town’. In addition to free wi-fi access the owners have also very thoughtfully provided a laptop for your use during your stay.

There is a small private front garden and a large enclosed shared south facing garden to the rear of the property, accessed from the dining room’s French doors. There is a patio area where you can sit out and enjoy breakfast on a sunny morning or drinks in the evening prior to a night out!

This apartment is great for getting together with family and friends. Offering the best of both worlds – a great gathering place in the heart of Britain’s favourite Tourist City. Edinburgh really is a year round destination from the main summer events – The Festival and Fringe – to Scotland’s most famous of celebrations – The Edinburgh Hogmanay which is spread over 4 days and includes a torchlight procession, massive street party and much more.

Use the apartment as a base to check out some other great locations all of which can be visited in a day – East Neuk of Fife (St. Andrews home of golf and a stunning coastline with sandy beaches). Beautiful Perthshire (Dunkeld Cathedral, Beatrix Potter Garden, Victorian spa town of Pitlochry with Bells Distillery. The Cairngorm national park and mountain range home to Scotland’s very own reindeer herd. These are just a few great day trips and attractions that are between a 30 minute to 1 ½ hours’ drive away
