A charming cottage which has been sympathetically refurbished to retain lots of charm and character, the Muir of Slue offers very comfortable accommodation for 4 persons in an idyllic setting in a woodland clearing at the end of a private farm track know as the Sluie Walk. Ideally located for exploring the Cairngorm National Park, the Moray Coastline and the capital of the highlands - Inverness, the property is only 5 miles from the town of Forres. On the coast there is dolphin watching, watersports and there is pony trekking, fishing and golf available locally. For the less energetic past-time, the Castle and Whisky Trail beckon as well as museums to enjoy throughout the area. Elgin and the seaside town of Nairn are close by with a choice of sandy beaches, cliff top and riverside walks all within easy reach. A wonderfully tranquil location to re-charge your batteries!
