Sitting above the village of Carbost on the west coast of The Isle Of Skye, with spectacular views of Loch Harport and beyond, you will find a lovingly restored Chapel. This is a place to escape to and unwind in, looking out of the floor to ceiling picture window all your worries will melt away. The Chapel offers luxurious accommodation whilst retaining many original features including the original beams and both entrance doors. Just for two this property gives you space and comfort to relax in and as it is equipped to a high standard, including a spa bath positioned to make the most of the fantastic view, a sauna to relieve aching bones, under floor heating, a Bose stereo and gym equipment, it all adds up to a holiday home in which you can forget about the world outside and slow down to the pace of life on Skye. It will be difficult to tear yourself away to explore all that the island has to offer, but that would be a shame for The Isle of Skye is ideal for searching out wildlife and walking, this accommodation lies at the heart of the Cuillins and has a rich history. To the North at Dunvegan, famous for its castle, there are coral beaches, perfect for a picnic and for strolling along and not far from there the famous Three Chimneys restaurant can be found at Colbost, head here for a treat and let someone else do the cooking! If you take a stroll down to the village, only a mile away, you will find The Old Inn serving good food produced locally and Skye Breweries best ale as well as the famous Talisker Distillery. The village also has a small shop for everyday items. The main town of Portree is only 18 miles away, it has a large variety of shops, pubs and restaurants with a selection of craft outlets. The south of the island is also within easy travelling distance, Elgol offers boat trips on The Bella Jayne to the seal colony on Loch Coruisk and the community owned Skye ferry leaves from Kylerhea to Glenelg on the mainland. Alternatively the Capital of the Highlands, Inverness is only a day trip away.
