A traditional 19th century stone built detached cottage, once occupied by the local miller is situated in a delightfully tranquil setting in the heart of the Aberdeenshire countryside. Over-looking the River Don, Brux Cottage has wonderful rural countryside views and provides extremely comfortable accommodation for those looking to 'get away from it all' yet within easy reach of the main city of Aberdeen and has the charming villages of Braemar and Ballater - the centre of Royal Deeside, are close by. Ideal at any time of the year - with the Ski routes at The Lech Ski Centre only 25 miles away and the delights of the morth eastern coastline with a choice of sandy beaches amd cliff top walks., you are also in the foothills of the Cairngorm National Park and all of the outdoor pursuits that the area has to offer. The whisky and castle trails are close by. Fishing permits can be obtained for the River Don from the Kildrummy Estate nearby and for golf lovers there are golf courses at Alford, Tarland and Ballater. There are a number of excellent places to eat in the area including the Kildrummy Castle Hotel and Kildrummy Inn. For grocery shopping, Alford is approximately 8 miles and for city shopping Aberdeen is approximately 32 miles.
