Situated in undulating farm land at the foot of Yeavering Bell enjoying uninterrupted countryside views, the cottage is part of a hamlet within very easy reach of the Scottish Border towns of Coldstream and Kelso and is also an easy day trip to Edinburgh. Ideal for touring the Northumberland Coast and its many attractions including Holy Island, Bamburgh Castle, the fishing villages of Seahouses, Craster and Beadnell and the many sandy beaches dotted along this heritage Coast. Only 20 minutes from the fortified town of Berwick upon Tweed and the town of Alnwick, home to the duke of Northumberland and it’s magnificent garden and castle, peace and tranquillity can also be sought in the remote parts of the Northumberland National Park. Walks are in abundance, excellent for cycling along country lanes and the area is a haven for wildlife lovers.
