This recently completed purpose built lodge has been constructed to very high standards and is to be found in a secluded location on the fringe of the picturesque village of Longframlington, nestled in a peaceful spot and surrounded by stunning open countryside. The accommodation is immaculately presented throughout with much thought, care and attention to the finer details. The floor to ceiling glass within the open plan living space maximises its bright and airy ambience and there is under floor heating throughout There is an extensive south facing private sun deck onto which the bedrooms and living area open.
Within 1 mile from the lodge, Longframlington boasts an award winning well stocked rural store and where there is also a butcher, coffee house and good pubs serving food. Within a few miles, there is Thrunton Woods with woodland walks or mountain bike rides with spectacular views over the Cheviot Hills. The picturesque village of Rothbury at the foot of the Simonside and Lordenshaw hills is only 5 miles west and offers an array of facilities including shops, pubs and tea rooms. Rothbury straddles the banks of the trout and salmon rich River Coquet where a licence and permit for fishing can be obtained locally and golfers will enjoy sampling the riverside 18 hole course. There is no shortage of fabulous walks and cycle routes to keep the outdoor enthusiast fully occupied! The 1,000 acres estate of Cragside, once home to Lord Armstrong and the first home in the world to be lit by hydroelectricity is an interesting National Trust visitor attraction close by.

Visitors enjoy experiencing the spectacular ‘ Alnwick Garden’, with its Grand Cascade Waterfall and restaurant within the largest tree house in Europe. There are more castles in Nortumberland than any other county in England with for example, only 26 miles away, Bamburgh Castle - a 11th century Norman castle towering over the beaches and sand dunes of this spectacular coastline. Or visit Dunstanburgh Castle - a massive ruined castle which dominates the coastline and recently on ITV's peak dram series Vera.
