Overlooking the scenic Walden Beck and waterfall in the pretty village of West Burton this excellent first floor apartment offers a light and airy holiday home in the heart of the Dales. Renowned as one of the prettiest villages in the Dales with its stone cottages surrounding the large village green and ancient market cross, no through traffic affords the village an air of peace and tranquillity. The comfortable apartment is tastefully furnished to a high standard with electric heating keeping it warm and welcoming in cooler months and makes an ideal hideaway for a couple wanting to explore the Dales on foot or by car or just simply to relax in beautiful surroundings. Walden Beck and waterfall (part of the Turner Trail) has seating and Packhorse bridge and is the perfect place to relax with a cold glass of wine after a day's walking. Should you want to explore further afield Hawes, Leyburn, Aysgarth, Buckden and Kettlewell are all within easy driving distance and for walker's footpaths abound in every direction. The village has a pub serving good food, a village shop, tea room and family butchers along with a pottery, art gallery and antiques/collectables. There is off road private parking, sorry we are unable to accommodate pets.
