Located in the heart of Teesdale, within 2.5 acres of the owners land, this superb,late Georgian period house offers luxurious accommodation, decorated and furnished to a 4 star standard. On the edge of the village of Mickleton, the property enjoys wonderful countryside views and offers an extremely comfortable retreat to return to after a day exploring this relatively quieter area of the dales. Each bedroom has en-suite facilities and the house also incoprortates a barn conversion with a dining room and separate spiral staircase which leads to the fourth bedroom. There is an enclosed garden and barbeque area and the grounds of Whitbridge are completely enclosed to ensure child and pet safety at all times. The large fully fitted and well equipped kitchen offers cooks scope and every convenience. There are three separate dining areas in the house to choose from so guests can create their own ambience. The town of Barnard Castle and City of Durham are within easy reach with a variety of local eating places to choose from, whilst the Lake District, the Yorkshire Dales, the spa town of Harrogate and the historic City of York, not forgetting the Yorkshire Coast, are all excellent destinations for a day trip from here. Fishing is available on the Tees and nearby reservoirs (permits can be arranged in advance) and there are also facilities for horse riding in the local area.
