On differing levels, the cottage has a superb outlook being surrounded by open views and hills of over 2000 feet. The accommodation has been very comfortably furnished and includes a ground floor flagstoned, heated area suitable for boot and bike storage and wet clothing.

Hawes is in the centre of the Yorkshire Dales National Park, and being on the Pennine Way, is therefore a superb centre for the serious walker. There are also plenty of local places of interest to visit, many within Hawes itself, and around, and the Lake District is readily accessible.
