Set in over four acres of beautiful mature gardens, this holiday cottage offers a peaceful retreat for visitors to North Yorkshire, Teesside and County Durham. Located one mile west of Yarm and its bustling High Street, this two storey building has an open plan lounge and kitchen.An eclectic mix of contemporary and antique furniture combine to make this cottage very distinctive. Equipped to the highest standards you´ll find everything you need for a comfortable stay.
The cottage is extremely well appointed with gas central heating and constant hot water. The furnishings and decoration are of a high standard and are well maintained at all times to ensure everything a visitor could possibly want during their stay.
Whether you want to relax, exercise, have an adventure, delve into history, experience nature, go shopping or, simply, enjoy a meal out you will be spoilt for choice. Within the Tees Valley nestled between North Yorkshire and County Durham you will have access to stunning coastline or rolling countryside. So it’s no wonder the area is a favourite amongst cyclers, walkers and watersports enthusiasts. There are also major national and international events for you to enjoy such as Stockton International Riverside Festival, Middlesbrough Music Live and Hartlepool Maritime Festival.
Tees Valley is also birthplace of the railways with the original route of the Stockton and Darlington Railway (the world's 1st steam-worked public railway) to be found at the Head of Steam Museum in Darlington.
