The cottage is cosy and comfortable with kitchen diner and lounge and upstairs king size bedroom, twin beds and childrens single bedroom. You will enjoy an enclosed mature garden, complete with garden furniture. Visitors staying at the cottage also have access to the hotel facilities that include restaurant and bar, a tennis court and bowling green.

Excellent walking is available direct from the door with the coastal resorts of Sandsend, Runswick Bay and Robin’s Hood Bay. The narrow streets and alleys of Whitby is only 3 miles away and folklore and tradition are very much part of Whitby – climb the 199 steps that lead up to the parish church of St Mary, whose churchyard inspired Bram Stoker to write his world-famous novel, Dracula. The world famous explorer, Captain Cook born in Marton, near Middlesbrough set sail from Whitby.
