Situated in the main street of the pretty village of Wrelton near Pickering, this attractive stone-built end terraced cottage provides very comfortable and well presented accommodation suitable for either a family holiday or quiet getaway for a couple. The master bedroom has a romantic four-poster bed, and there is a sheltered South-facing patio to the rear of the cottage, the perfect place to relax in on warm summer days. Just 150yds away is the popular local pub, The Buck, where you can call for just a drink, enjoy a tasty meal or maybe even join in with the Pub Quiz. The market town of Pickering, 3 miles away, has a variety of interesting shops, as well as pubs, cafes and restaurants.
Outdoor enthusiasts will not be disappointed with the many activities on offer in this area; there are many excellent walks to be had on the magnificent moors, several golf courses within a few miles, and an internationally renowned mountain-biking centre in the nearby Dalby Forest. The Go Ape high wires centre and Flamingo Land zoo and park are just a short drive away and very popular with children and teenagers.
Wrelton offers a very central base for exploring the North York Moors National Park, the East Coast resorts of Scarborough, Filey and Whitby and the ancient and historic city of York with its museums and impressive gothic Minster.
