Quietly situated in the picturesque village of Goathland, made famous as ‘Aidensfield’ in the TV programme Heatbeat, this spacious family holiday home is ideally located for exploring the North York Moors and the Heritage Coastline with the quaint old harbour town of Whitby just 5 miles away. The house is comfortably furnished and has an open fire for cooler months and a lovely private rear garden for warm summer days. Surrounded by the spectacular scenery of the North York Moors the village has a large green where the sheep roam free, a shop, tea room and hotel/village inn. Footpaths abound over the moorland to pretty villages and the North York Steam Preservation line stops at the village station on its way to Pickering or Grosmont. Whitby with its colourful marina is just 5 miles away, and has plenty of shops, pubs, tea shops, restaurants and sandy beaches. Further along the Heritage coastline is Robin Hoods Bay and Scarborough to the south and Runswick Bay and Staithes to the North and a little further inland is the market town of Pickering.
