Situated on the edge of Snowdonia, just 9 miles from Bala and 12 from Llangollen, home of the world famous Eisteddod music festival, this welcoming and cosy cottage provides comfortable holiday accommodation suitable for either singles, couples or a family group. Traditional in style, the cottage has been sensitively modernised in recent years to retain characterful features including original fireplaces and beamed ceilings. To the rear of the cottage there is ample parking and a large lawned garden with barbeque area and loungers, perfect for holidaymakers to relax in on summer days.
The cottage is ideally situated for those who want to explore the North Wales Coast and Snowdonia as well as the historic castles of Chirk, Conwy and Harlech, and the Roman city of Chester.
Outdoor enthusiasts are well-catered for in this area; keen walkers are spoilt for choice with the Berwyn & Llantysilio mountains nearby, and the Offa's Dyke long distance footpath not far away. Lake Bala is the largest natural body of water in Wales and much used by watersports enthusiasts and the National White Water Rafting centre is also based nearby.
