This charming cottage has been converted from the old stables and is situated to the rear of the village Post Office and Tea Room, where meals are available, in a quiet and secluded position.

Comfortably furnished the accommodation retains much of the original character which includes a cobbled floor and wood boskin in the kitchen. There is a pleasant view of Pendle Hill and the surrounding countryside from the lounge.

Downham itself is a very attractive village which was used in the filming of the TV series Born and Bred, and is just 6 miles from the Ribble Valley market town of Clitheroe making it an ideal base for touring throughout East and North Lancashire. With Pendle Hill on the doorstep walkers will also enjoy the variety of walks which are available throughout the local area.
