Weekly bookings generally start on Fridays, but other start days can be arranged. Short breaks available.
This high quality cottage is set in the grounds of the impressive Whoop Hall with wonderful views across the Lune Valley . The property has 3 good sized bedrooms and has been furnished impeccably by the owners. With use of the facilities in the nearby hotel on the doorstep the cottage is also able to offer the advantage of an ideal location, midway between the Yorkshire Dales and the Lake District.
Free Membership of the Whoop Hall leisure centre includes use of the swimming pool, fitness centre and sauna. There is also a restaurant/bar and spa facilities at an extra cost.
Kirkby Lonsdale is ½ a mile from Whoop Hall and is a charming small town with shops and places to eat of great character. The Yorkshire Dales really is on the doorstep with some excellent walks at Ingleton and Sedbergh only a few miles away. The caves at Clapham are worth a visit as is the famous viaduct at Ribblehead which provides the start of a climb up the highest mountain in Yorkshire, Whernside. Travelling the other way and the hills and the lakes of the Lake District near Windermere is barely ½ an hour drive away. It really is a wonderful location to explore the delights of the area.
