This delightful cottage is situated in a quiet, peaceful location within the Conservation area of the village of Burton in Lonsdale. The spacious cottage with period features offers comfortable, well equipped accommodation and has the added benefit of a large kitchen with Gas Aga and dining area leading to a secluded cottage garden, in which there is a small pond.

This excellent accommodation has some internal steps and there is parking on a private driveway for 2 cars. Bicycle storage within an outside stone shed is available by arrangement.

Burton in Lonsdale is a small village with a shop, including a Post Office, and local pub. It is just 3 miles from Ingleton and 5 miles from Kirkby Lonsdale where there are a variety of individual shops, restaurants and pubs. There is easy access to the Lake District, Yorkshire Dales, Trough of Bowland (an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty), and Coastal areas. There is a railway station at Bentham, just 2 miles away. Visitors can be collected from the station by prior arrangement with the owners.

Accommodation: Ground floor - sitting room, fitted kitchen with granite worktops, gas Aga leading to dining room with French doors to garden, utility room with washer, separate toilet with wash basin. First floor - 2 bedrooms - 1 double and 1 twin, bathroom with shower over Jacuzzi bath, toilet and basin.

Gas fired central heating, gas fired Aga - gas and electricity are included in the rent. Colour T.V., microwave, shower, dishwasher, automatic washing machine. Bed linen is included. Well kept garden with patio, pond and garden seat. Parking for 2 cars. Sorry no pets. Not suitable for children under 14 years of age.
