Situated on a 500 acre agricultural estate in a beautiful part of the Lake District National Park near Broughton in Furness, this superbly presented property offers comfortable and well equipped holiday accommodation for up to 6 people. Furnished in a contemporary style and with a cosy wood burner, the cottage enjoys magnificent views over the surrounding countryside from its attractive open plan living area. Outside is a spacious shared garden area with barbeque facilities where you can relax in fine weather. There are 150 acres of beautiful woodland to explore on this extensive country estate, and wonderful opportunities for getting to know the local wildlife including badgers, foxes and owls. There is a also a trout fishing lake and riverbank fishing on site.

- Coniston Water is just 3 miles from here and Lake Windermere only half an hour's drive. Take a trip on the Lakeside & Haverthwaite railway which runs between Haverthwaite Station (nr Newby Bridge), and Lakeside Pier,at the southern end of Lake Windermere where you can join a cruise on the lake.
- Grizedale Forest with its mountain bike and sculpture trails and 'Go Ape' treetop adventure course is a great day out and only a short drive
