This is part of a large farmhouse which lies in the beautiful Cumbrian countryside with outstanding views over the Pennines.

This is one of 7 cottages on raised ground near the farmhouse in order to maximise the views which can be enjoyed from the gardens or through the large windows. The farm offers an excellent opportunity to meet the animals, children will love the ducks, geese and horses and of course Mo the pig!

Magnificent Pennine countryside is literally on the doorstep with many trails leading past the cottages themselves whilst Talkin Tarn (only 1 ½ miles away) offers great boating and fishing. Bring a bike (or hire one locally at Brampton) as there are many green lanes in the area and the RSPB reserve at Geltsdale is next door, famous for its Black Grouse and other upland birds.
Further afield Hadrian’s Wall is an obvious attraction, the small town of Brampton has all you need in terms of facilities but has retained much of its character whilst the Lakes itself is only a short drive away.
There are 2 pubs nearby serving food but the owners also offer an excellent home cooked menu for anyone who is staying.
