This charming bungalow is located on a quiet country lane set just 8 miles from the bustling port of Oban, seafood capital of Scotland! This comfortable and spacious cottage is situated in a quiet area with magnificent views of Loch Creran from the rear garden and conveniently situated close to the village of Benderloch and the large sandy beach at Tralee bay. Well equipped to meet all your needs, the crowning glory of this property has to be the well kept gardens with access to the shore, the perfect place to finish off your day with a BBQ. The property easily accommodates seven and an extra person can be accommodated by closing off the sun room where a single bed can be made up if required. An ideal base for touring the area the main town of Oban is just a 15 minute drive away, travelling over Connel Bridge and the falls of Lora, where you can take a boat trip to view the marine life or a ferry trip to the islands of Mull, Iona or Staffa. From Port Appin you can also take a boat trip to the island of Lismore. Further afield, the stunning scenery of Glencoe or the magnificent Ben Nevis is only an hours drive away. Coastal or forest walks are easily accessible and the climb to the top of Ben Lora is well worth the effort. An abundance of wildlife, flora and fauna are to be found in the surrounding area. The nearby village of Benderloch caters for all your needs with a café, chip shop, petrol station and shop which is open until 10 pm! Just a 2 hour drive from Glasgow makes this property perfect for your main holiday or even a weekend getaway.
