The Lodge is a comfortable bungalow with views through the trees to Loch Fyne, set within the grounds of Minard Castle on the shores of Loch Fyne. Decorated and furnished to offer cosy accommodation at all times of the year, with ample space for 4 adults and 2 children, you are able to take advantage of the 50 acre estate that The Lodge is situated in, as well as seek privacy within your own lawned garden. You are welcome to exercise the salmon fishing rights that the owners of Minard Castle have along the shores of this estate. You can also purchase permits locally for other lochs in the area. The village of Minard has a shop and post office and there are restaurants and pubs at nearby Furnace or Lochgair. Inveraray is only 13 miles distant with its famous jail, castle and maritime museum and there is a whisky shop which definitely mustn't be missed!! Minard Castle provides an ideal touring location on the shores of Loch Fyne, from which you are able to explore scenic Argyll, with a tranquil retreat to return to each day.
